Boca Raton Holiday Boat Parade 2010It's that time of the year again! The 2010 Boca Raton Holiday Boat Parade has been a treasured tradition for the last 33 years in Boca, FL. This year's annual event, takes place on December 18, 2010, is being organized by the City of Boca Raton, the Marine Industries Association of Palm Beach County, and Sea Tower Services of Palm Beach County.

The organizations plan to have at least 60 lavishly decorated boats to participate in the parade that is free of charge to everyone. Parade officials also encourage everyone to participate in the US Marine's Toys for Tots Drive to benefit children in the area.

As the Boat Parade begins, the decorated floating beauty's will make their way south on the Intracoastal Waterway beginning at the C-15 Canal (Boca Raton-Delray Beach border) moving past Spanish River Boulevard, Lake Wyman, Red Reef Park, Silver Palm Park, Camino Real, and ending at the Hillsboro Boulevard Bridge which is just south of the Palm Beach County line in Broward County.

A spectacular traveling fireworks display will lead the boats down the parade route. Bleacher seating for viewing is available at Red Reef Park located on A1A and Silver Palm Park located on East Palmetto Park Road. The event is made possible through the cooperation of Marine Industries Association of PBC, Sea Tow Services of the Palm Beaches, and the City of Boca Raton. BocaRaton.com will see you there!
