Think Pink Rocks
Queen Latifah hosts the Think Pink Rocks breast cancer fundraising event in Boca Raton.

Stephanie Robin of Boca Raton was diagnosed with stage II breast cancer in 2004, at age 36. Robin tested positive for the Breast Cancer Gene (BRCA) and underwent a double mastectomy with reconstruction, a total hysterectomy and months of chemotherapy.
In 2005, Robin, and her friend Elizabeth Weprin of Delray Beach founded Think Pink, Founder Stephanie Robin, a 40-year-old Boca wife and mother, described her four-year fight with breast cancer. Reminding the audience the goals of Think Pink are to promote education about breast cancer, diagnosis, treatment, the BRCA gene mutation and genetic testing. She encouraged the audience to be proactive about their health, no matter what their age, and go for regular examinations.
Held at Boca Raton’s, Mizner Park Amphitheater, host Queen Latifah along with Flo Rida, Akon, Tami Chynn, Melanie Fiona, O'Neal McKight, and Shire' played the same thrilling beats they would have at any other show. All of the performances Saturday night were outstanding, yet for a different purpose. "Think Pink Rocks," sponsored by a Boca breast cancer charity, raised money for five organizations, including The Women's Center for Breast Care at Boca Raton Community Hospital and Memorial Sloan Kettering in New York.
