In an effort to give back to the local community and implement a healthy eating initiative, the largest rental-listing service for the Section 8 housing market GoSection8.com will be hosting its first ever Top Chef Competition with two renowned South Florida chefs on Friday, May 31st.

Executive Chef Ursula Rafer is dedicated to maintaining the highest standard of culinary excellence. Ursula’s food is prepared using only the freshest organic ingredients and finest artistic presentation. Chef Ursula focuses on enjoying the spices of life while maintaining a healthy lifestyle.  She combines her culinary art with yoga, and meditation classes.

Executive Chef Hugh A. Sinclair is a South Florida resident who migrated here from the Caribbean and is a Certified Culinarian who has a passion for food and a taste for great service. Chef Hugh gained valuable professional experience working in different capacities at some of south Florida’s Premier establishments namely: Turnberry Isle Resort, Chef Hugh was also a former chef for Lamar Odom, formerly of The Miami Heat.

Each chef will compete to benefit a local children’s charity. $1,000 will be awarded to the 1st place winner and $500 for the runner up. GoSection8 is pleased to partner the Unicorn Children's Foundation and the American Association of Caregiving Youth for the upcoming Go8 Top Chef Competition!
