History
Deliver the Dreams, a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization, founded by Pat Moran, a past chairman of JM Family Enterprises, Inc. After seeing families struggle for many years to stay together as they went through a crisis, Pat dreamed of a program that would allow such families to alleviate stress, enhance coping skills, and enjoy being together as a family.
Pat Morgan dream became reality in 2002, when Deliver the Dream had it's first retreat for families who had a parent with cancer. Since then this organization has brought hope and healing to nearly 3,000 families.

How Has Your Organization
Made A Difference
In The Community?
Deliver the Dream provides respite weekends for families dealing with serious illness or crisis and connects them not only with their family members, but with an entire community of families dealing with similar challenges in life. Families are able to forget about their day to day difficulties and just be families and kids again. The most powerful thing experienced on a retreat weekend is the extension of family. Volunteers and families alike share so many wonderful moments throughout the retreat weekend that they create lifelong bonds and almost always continue their support networks with each other. On an autism weekend several years ago, a mother announced to the group how happy she was that she could finally have her friends over and not care if the kids were running around and screaming. They could just be themselves, and they had never known that before. Deliver the Dream makes a difference in each community it impacts by fostering these connections and providing a nurturing venue for the connections to turn into lifelong friendships and support.
