Newsweek Ranks America's Best High Schools


WPTV News Channel 5 NBC

Every year, the best high schools in the country are picked by Newsweek. It is based on how hard school staffs work to challenge students with advanced-placement college-level courses and tests. Only 6% of all the public schools in the U.S. made the list. Thats just over 1,600 schools.

Palm Beach County ranked high on the list with 4 schools. They schools are: Suncoast Community High School in Riviera Beach (ranked 9th). The Dreyfoos School of the Arts in West Palm Beach (ranked 60th), followed by Boca Raton Community High School (ranked 61st) and Atlantic Community High School in Delray Beach (ranked 88th).
