Named “Physician Hero” finalist by Palm Beach County Medial Society, Dr. Daniel Man is the originator of The Vertical Bed, which he combines with Smart Lipo and other advanced liposuction techniques. He was selected as the first plastic surgeon in South Florida to use the device and his facility named a Smart Lipo Teaching Center of Excellence. Dr. Daniel Man is known for creating more natural face, neck and forehead lifts, skin rejuvenation peels and laser surgery.

Such notables as Florida Governor Jeb Bush, Senator Bob Graham and the City of Boca Raton have recognized Dr. Man, not only for his achievements in plastic surgery, but also for his charity and humanitarian contributions. Plastic Surgery Products Magazine has called him “The Renaissance Man”, and Palm Beach County Coalition of Victim Services named him “Humanitarian of the Year”.

Since 2001, Dr. Man has been working in conjunction with Palm Beach Victim Services, offering his surgical skills without charge to people who have been injured and disfigured as a result of domestic abuse. From the Office for Victims of Crime, Dr. Man received the Allied Professional Award and National Crime Victims Rights Award for his assistance to victims of abuse and violence. Dr. Man said he believes that victims should have access to plastic surgery to heal the scars and wounds, and while a surface wound could measure only an inch or two, the mental scar it leaves can be a mile long requiring much more than physical repair.
