Chris Evert, the greatest and most victorious player in the history of women’s tennis, will once again host her annual CHRIS EVERT/RAYMOND JAMES PRO-CELEBRITY TENNIS CLASSIC Pro-Celebrity Tennis Classic to be held Friday, November 2nd - Sunday, November 4th at the Boca Raton Resort and Delray Beach Tennis Center.
This highly anticipated event, now in its 18th year has raised over 15 million dollars to aid in the fight against Drug abuse and child neglect in Florida. It will be held Friday, November 2nd – Sunday, November 4th at the Boca Raton Resort & Club and the Delray Beach Tennis Center.
All sponsorship funds raised through the annual Chris Evert Pro-Celebrity Tennis Classic help children at-risk due to drug abuse and alcohol addiction. Working closely with the Ounce of Prevention Fund of Florida, the Charity focuses on programs that work to keep families intact as they seek treatment. The Pro-Celebrity is a national media event, however all sponsor dollars remain exclusively in the state of Florida, exclusively benefiting children in the state of Florida. The respect that Chris Evert commands and the success, prestige and reputation that her high profile, glamorous Pro-Celebrity Tennis Classic has attained over a record-breaking seventeen years, is evidenced in its ability to provide Sponsors with prestigious and reputable publicity.
And certainly personally rewarding, is being a part the extremely generous and selfless humanitarian campaign that she has spearheaded for nearly two decades in and around Florida.
The spectacular weekend features two days of tennis (Saturday and Sunday) at the Delray Beach Tennis Center, with sports and tennis stars playing with and against celebrities.
The event’s festivities begin with a Friday night Classic Cocktail Reception held at the exclusive Boca Raton Resort and Club where Sponsors, Pros and Celebrities mix and mingle poolside.
The Classic weekend is then highlighted by two great days of Pro-Celebrity tennis at the Delray Beach Tennis Center and a Gala Black-Tie Dinner Dance Saturday evening at the Boca Raton Resort and Club. The Gala includes a Silent and Live Auction and features A-list musical talent. The Classic weekend is full of glamour and fun and has become one of the most anticipated fundraising events of the South Florida social season.
