Miss Broward County Scholarship Pageant to be held at Miniaci Performing Arts Center – Nova Southeastern University, Sunday, March 30, 2008 at 4:00 PM.

Tickets are just $15.00 and proceeds benefit Scholarship for South Florida, Inc. (a 501 (c) 3 organization).

The Miss Broward County Scholarship Organization is a not-for-profit organization, as is the Miss America Organization and each of its state and local organizations. The program exists to provide personal and professional opportunities for young women to express their viewpoints, talents, and accomplishments. Most contestants are in the process of earning college or postgraduate degrees and utilize Miss America scholarship grants to further their education. Teen contestants earn scholarship dollars that will be available to them upon graduation from high school. The Miss America Program remains the world’s largest provider of scholarships for young women. Each year the Miss America Organization through its local, state, and national pageants make available more than $45 million in scholarship assistance. With support and contributions from local businesses, individuals, and organizations the Miss Broward County Scholarship Organization is able maintain this tradition.
